the efforts of 30 people, including project plan, task lists, presentations,
meetings and scheduling, to release two versions of the DataFabric Manager
product. These two successful releases increased the capabilities of DFM by
100%.

5 external engineering organizations with 30 engineers located around the
country and expanded the internal team from 2 to 10 with a budget of $3M.

Renegotiated
out-of-control software development. Without damaging development, reduced
highest contract rates by 40% and overall expenditures by $900,000.
Palm, Inc.
Manager, Wireless Applications Engineering 1998
– 2000
Led Palm VII wireless server and client software
development, including Web Clipping, iMessenger and Instant Activation which
were the basis for the 150,000 customer PalmNet service offering.

Managed
a team of 8-12 software engineers and designers through five major software
releases which were ultimately incorporated into Palm devices totaling 500,000.
·
Managed
the development of the client and server software for the Palm. The Palm VII was
a very successful project, shipping more than 200,000 units and generating
monthly service revenue of as much as $2,000,000.

Managed
development of wireless software for Palm VIIx, Palm OS 3.5, Mobile Internet
Kit, Palm OS 4.0 and the Palm Web Clipping Servers which continued to run until
2005.
